Dollond x12 (12x28)

Das 12x28 Dollond Monokular wurde in einem braunen Lederköcher geliefert, in dessen Deckelinneseite sich unter einer Krone "Establish(ed) ... Dollond London" steht. Der Gehäusedeckel des Monokulars ist mit die Firmenraute mit "Dollond London" darin beschriftet. Beide Messingdeckel sind einfach verschraubt und schwrz lackiert. Das lange Trageöse-Metallstück hat zwei Schrauben und dazwischen die Kennzeichnung mit "x12" und der Seriennummmer 2285. Das Aluminium-Gehäuse hat eeine dunkelbraune Kunststoffummantelung. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Bakelit. Die umlaufende Dioptrieskala am linksseitigen Okular ist von +5 bis -5 markiert. Die 18mm lange Objektivfassung hat einen Abdeckring, darunter einen Befestigungs- und einen Exenterring für die Justierung der 28mm Objektivlinse.

This 12x28 Dollond Monocular came with a brown leather case. Its lid is imprinted "Establish(ed) ... Dollond London" below a crown inside. The top cover plate is marked "Dollond ;London" set within the maker's diamond. Both brass covers are painted black and have one screw. The long strap lug metal piece has two screws and is inscribed "x12" as well as with serial number 2285. The aluminium housing has a dark brown vulcanite covering. The eyecup is made of Bakelite. The dioptre scale runs all around the left-hand sided ocular ranging from + to -5. Te 18mm tall objective tube has a cover ring, a retainer ring, and an eccentric ring for adjusting the 28mm lens.

Das Monokular ist 118-126mm lang, am Gehäuse oben 49x49mm und unten 51x51mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 37mm im Durchmesser. Das linksseitige Okular ist 24mm, der Fokussierungsteil 27mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser. Es wiegt 324g.
