Reise-Dialyt 8x (Hensoldt - Wacht)

Das 8x Dialyt mit Seriennummer 81372 ist an dem für Dialyt-Monokulare typischen erhabenen Beschriftungsteil oben im Uhrzeigersinn mit "Germany - Wacht-Logo - D.R.P. - 81372" und mittig mit "Hensoldt-Wetzlar", an einer Seite mit "Reise-Dialyt 8x", an der anderen Seite mit "Hensoldt" gekennzeichnet. Da der Markenname "Wacht" benutzt wird, muss das Glas von vor 1920 stammen. Das Lederfuteral ist mit "Germany" gestempelt. Es ist ca. 13,3 cm (5 1/4") lang. Es hat eine Trageöse am oberen Prismengehäuse. Das Okular ist mit einem Dioptrienausgleich versehen.

The 8x Dialyt with S/N 81372 is marked at the protruding part of the body which is typical of Hensoldt monoculars. On top of it, the inscription runs clockwise "Germany - Wacht-Logo - D.R.P. - 81372" and in the centre it says "Hensoldt-Wetzlar". The sides are marked "Reise-Dialyt 8x" and "Hensoldt". For the trademark "Wacht" appears, the glass must date from before 1920. The leather case is stamped "Germany". The monocular is about 13,3 cm (5 1/4") long. It has a lug at the top end of the prism housing. The eyepiece has a dioptre adjustment.
