Carl Zeiss Jena 8x24 "Delturismo"

Das Zeiss 8x24 Modell nach dem 1. Weltkrieg wurde als "Delturmo" geführt und hat auf dem oberen Deckel die Beschriftung mit Seriennummer 1099955 (1921), dem Zeiss-Logo sowie "8x24". Es hat ein Weitwinkelokular und eine schmale braune Bakelitaugenmuschel. Das linksseitige Okular ist 35mm im Durchmesser und hat eine umlaufende Dioptrienskala mit Markierungen bei Null, plus und minus 5. Die Deckel sind einfach verschraubt und schwarz lackiert. Das Gehäuse ist 53x56mm bzw. 57x57mm breit und nur 52mm hoch bei einer Gesamtlänge von 88-92mm. Dadurch wirkt das Glas gedrungen. Die Objektivfassung ist 35mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular liegt mit passender brauner Ledertasche vor. Es wiegt mit Trageriemen 243g.

The left-hand sided ocular is 35mm in diameter , has a dioptre scale running around the eyepiece with markings at zero, plus and minus 5. The cover plates have one screw and are painted black. The housing is 53x56mm and 57x57mm wide, being only 52mm tall. Overall length is 88-92mm. Thus the the glas looks very compact. The objective frame measures 35mm in diameter. The monocular comes with a brown leather case. It weighs 243g with its carrying strap.
