This 10x50 monocular by Barr & Stroud is model CF26A. It has a porro II prism system, and has serial number 102792, another one 108332, thus both being made shortly after WWII. Its field of view is 87 yards/1000ft. The construction characteristics are the same as with most of the other B&S glasses: a Bakelite prism box and objective frame, a plastic eyecup and a dioptre adjustment between +5 and -5 on the left-hand sided (102792) or right-hand sided (108332) ocular. The conical objective tube is covered with some textured plastic material.
