Dieses 8x30 Monokular mit Kennzeichnung 62-8 WYJ und einer eingekreisten 98 darunter kommt möglicherweise aus russishcer Fertigung von KOMZ (Marke Baigish), da es englisch-russishce Anleitungen mit dem Namen gibt. Es wird jedoch auch viel über Chinesische Interntshops verkauft, wobei der Herstellernamen nicht genannt wird. Das Porro-I-Prismen-Monokular gibt es mit schwarz lackierten oder blank-polierten goldfarbenen Metallteilen. Die Deckel sind eindach verschraubt. Am unteren Deckel befindet sich eine eingeschraubte Trockenpatrone. Die Gehäusedeckel sind vergleichsweise dick; am oberen gibt es eine Aussparung um den Trageriemen besser durch die eingegossene Öse ziehen zu können. Manche Exemplare haben laut Internetangeboten eine Strichplatte (zumindest die binokulare Variante). Die Optik ist blau-lila vergütet. Die Prismen sind auf den Trägerplatten im Gehäuse angekittet. Die Dioptrienskala reicht von + bis - 5. Das goldfarbene Exemplar mit Seriennummer 1996559 hat eine Metallaugenmuschel und die Okularhülse ist schwarz lackiert. Bei einer vorliegenden Fernglashälfte (S/N 101583) ist die Augenmuschel aus Plastik.

This 8x30 monocular, marked 62-8 WYJ and with an encircled "98" underneath, is probably made in Russia by KOMZ (brand "Baigish"), a some instruction sheet with English and Russian text suggest. It is alos often sold over Chines internt shops, although the manufacturer's name is not stated. The Porro I prism monocular is available with black lacquered or polished gold-colored metal parts. The covers have one screw. A screwed-in desiccant cartridge is located on the lower cover. The housing covers are comparatively thick; the upper one has a recess to facilitate threading the carrying strap through the cast-in eyelet. According to online listings, some examples have a reticle (at least the binocular version). The optics are blue-purple coated. The prisms are cemented to the support plates in the housing. The diopter scale ranges from + to -5. The gold-colored example with serial number 1996559 has a metal eyecup and the eyepiece sleeve is painted black. In one of the binoculars (S/N 101583) the eyecup is made of plastic.
